President/Senior Designer
A strong design begins with structural knowledge. Rich has been with Shorelines Design Group for 25 years and serves as President of the residential division. His understanding of how buildings are engineered and built informs every design decision he makes, from concept through construction drawings. He is an award-winning designer and a recognized expert in FEMA flood zone requirements and residential and commercial building code interpretation. Rich leads project design and manages client relationships. As a Senior Designer, he works closely with the entire drafting team and remains a direct point of contact for clients from the first meeting through permitted drawings. Clients working with Rich can expect a designer who is genuinely invested in their project and accessible at every stage.

Partner and Senior Building Designer
An award-winning professional building designer credentialed through the AIBD, Tim has been with SDG since 2003. He holds a BAS in Environmental Sustainability and has been an active member of Florida's Green Building Coalition. Tim oversees project design and development, project estimating, and in-house project management, guiding each project from initial concept to permittable drawings. He is an expert in residential and commercial building code interpretation and building design. He works directly with clients to answer design and structural questions as they arise, ensuring that every decision made along the way reflects both the client's vision and the practical demands of the project. Tim's clients consistently describe working with him as a collaborative and clear process from start to finish.
Managing Partner
Lerin has been with Shorelines Design Group since 2011 and became a partner in 2016. She oversees customer relations, works directly with clients on upcoming projects and project costs, and conducts site visits alongside the design team. Lerin manages permit package submittals, digital portfolio curation, account management, and the firm's digital marketing presence. She is typically the first voice clients hear when they reach out to SDG, and she remains a consistent point of contact from initial inquiry through project completion. Few people at the firm touch as many parts of a project as Lerin does, and that breadth of involvement means clients always have someone in their corner.

With 30 years in CAD design and 22 years of service in the US Navy, Steve brings exceptional precision and discipline to every set of construction documents.
He has an Associates of Science degree from Tampa Technical College with the emphasis on Computer Aided Drafting. Steve recently retired from the US Navy after 22 years of service. Steve has taken up flying drones for recreation and ariel photography and is currently attending SDI for drone technology.

Jonathan joined us in 2019 and he works through the whole architectural design and construction process here at SDG.

As President of SDG Architecture's commercial division and a licensed architect, Rod is the in-house design professional that oversees every project and manages Commercial business development.
Rod manages team priorities and is the architect responsible for final code interpretation for both Residential and Commercial, thoroughly reviewing each project before he places his professional signature and seal onto the drawings. Rod has been with SDG since 2014.

Suzie brings over 30 years of work experience to her role. Suzie spent the bulk of her career working for Aetna in Hartford CT until she moved to sunny Florida in 2017.
She is also a photographer and loves to be creative. When she isn't here she's loving and serving her high school seniors and couples helping them make memories that will last a lifetime.

Kristina joined the SDG team in April 2025, bringing experience in residential design and drafting, interior design, hospital equipment planning, and both residential and commercial remodels—plus a unique creative background in hair styling. Her passion for building and design began in childhood, inspired by her father and fueled by Sunday family outings to explore newly built homes in their neighborhood.
She especially enjoys space planning and creating layouts that perfectly suit clients’ everyday needs. Outside of work, Kristina loves watching movies, walking in nature, singing along to her favorite music, and still takes drives through neighborhoods to admire both new and historic homes for inspiration.

David joined the team In January of 2021. Before SDG, he worked as a draftsman for architectural firms, engineering firms and designers throughout the Tampa Bay area since the mid 1990’s. He worked on townhome projects, modular buildings, residential remodels, additions, and custom homes of all types and budgets.
He enjoys taking hand sketches and bringing them to life on screen. Having those sketches become a reality give him a feeling of accomplishment.
